NZCMRR Winter Classic at Taupo

Saturday 26 - Sunday 27 September 2026

Programme of events

This meeting will be on the National Track.  TMP IS NOT running a Friday Test Track Day.

The Club will be subsidising the entry fee for this event once again.  To cover the increased/new costs entries should now be in the $570 region for a 2 day meeting at Taupo.

We will still offer camping on site for Friday and Saturday nights only.   All campers must pre-register and pay.  Trailers may be left on site but all other vehicles remaining on site overnight must be registered for camping.  Campers pay $50 per vehicle per night to stay unpowered ($50 powered site surcharge).  Over night, track supplied, security is now mandatory and is costing the club $1900 + GST so hopefully enough people make use of this to justify the cost . The track has allowed NZCMRR an exception from their normal registration form terms – sleeping in a motorhome, van or caravan is allowable but no tents; self-contained vehicles are preferred. If you do not have a self-contained vehicle it is preferred that you stay up by the Control Tower shower/toilet block  - when you collect your vehicle sticker on arrival you will be given a code to access the showers and toilet after hours.  The gates will be locked from 8pm to 7am.  Use the following link to book your camping with the circuit and to make payment NZCMRR Camping Registration Form
